One one trip back from the Isle of Man Cad was riding pillion on my bike when the primary chain broke half down the M1, luckily by some services. We got the bike there and phoned Honda Dick who came with John Toft to give us a lift back home. They proceeded to have a race all the way back with Cad on the back of John Toft and myself on the back of Honda Dick. It was a frightening experience and Cad said to me later "don't ever break down with me on the back again, I never want to go through that again"
