Dad built boats in Brentford, and liked a drink there too, we went on several boat trips there A very long time ago long before Dad was ill he always said when he died to chuck him out somewhere between Brentford and Kew, it was not spoken of again but I remembered and as he wished his ashes are at Ferry Quays which is just off Brentford High Steet on the Tidal Thames with Kew Gardens opposite. There is a sculpture there called Liquidity and it is made out of metal and a very fitting tribute, also there is a wild butterfly garden and a curry house. For the last couple of years we have taken a trip on the Thames on Lady of London and we have drunk port and sprinkled pettles There is also some beer and a sportsman glass in the Thames
